The Young Cinema Foundation is an independent cultural centre operating in Warsaw, Poland, since 1990. The main statutory aims are: to support young filmmakers and to establish an independent film studio working on a non-profit basis.
We create innovative cultural projects, national and international ones.
The Founders
The founders of the Foundation were: Przemysław Młyńczyk, Andrzej Kraszewski, Milenia Fiedler, Agnieszka Kawka.
The idea arose in May, 1990. In November, the foundation was registered.
Since 2006, the Foundation’s activities have been coordinated by the Management Board consisting of Przemysław Młyńczyk, Milenia Fiedler and Andrzej Musiał.

Our Movies
The films we produced have been repeatedly broadcast on television and Internet and won several awards at festivals.
Financing
The projects of the Foundation are financed from private donations, from public grants received as part of tenders and from revenues from our own activities.
If you like what we do, you can support our activities by making a donation or simply by working with us. Many of our projects were created with the help of volunteers.
In Poland, donations made for cultural activities can be deducted from the income tax base to the amount specified in the legislation.
